In this week’s team meeting, we covered our path to victory in NY-01. As one of our supporters, I want to make sure you know where we stand.

 

We’re expecting between 350,000 and 375,000 voters to cast their ballots in the NY-01 election by November 3, 2020. Because there are no Senate races across our state this year, my name will be at the top of the ticket alongside our presumed Democratic nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, in his race against Donald Trump.

 

After closely analyzing the district and its trends, we’ve found our path to victory. Here’s what we need to do:

We need to raise $22.5k to remain on target to reach this month’s goal and run the aggressive campaign strategies we need to out-communicate and out-hustle Lee Zeldin and his corporate PAC-funded war chest.

 

Roll Call's Stuart Rothenberg recently reported on a GOP fundraising email “Stop the MOB,” paid for by my opponent Lee Zeldin. According to Rothenberg, “this McCarthy/Zeldin email is a window into Republican strategy, demonstrating how far the party will go in making unsubstantiated claims.”

 

Rothenberg also said, “Zeldin apparently figures he needs to scare suburban voters into thinking that their lives and property are at risk.”
