John,

This is outrageous.

Parents are already struggling during this pandemic. Now some school districts want families to pay an EXTRA $160 a week, per child – on top of the taxes they already pay – to send their kids to a classroom.

How are they doing this? By calling it “childcare,” not school. Yet they’re using the same classroom space and providing structured curriculum and educational guidance.

That certainly sounds like school to us.

And now some teachers unions are threatening to go on strike and refuse to provide distance learning to children.

It’s absurd. We won’t let kids be robbed of educational opportunities by a broken public school system.

The ACLJ has now heard from nearly 1,500 families who need help to ensure that their children receive the quality education they’re entitled to during this pandemic.

We’re representing families – at no charge to them. We’ve just sent three legal letters in as many days to an Arizona school district, demanding they stop forcing parents to pay extra for classroom access.

And we’re mailing a new legal letter today to another school district. But we need you to stand with us.

Sign Our Petition: Put Students First – Don’t Charge Extra.
