Hi there --
On Tuesday night, all four of our candidates on the ballot won their primaries. Amelia Parker, Marché Johnson, David Hayes, and Kegan Coleman will all advance to the general election in November, and we can't wait to keep working with them.
Our theory here is simple: If you give a shit about your community, there's an office you can run for where you'll do some good. Our government is better and stronger when diverse voices are heard loud and clear. There's no test to pass and no background you have to have in order to make a difference.
If you're ready -- or you think you know someone who is -- then take the next step: Sign up to learn more about running for office.
You don't have to have a five-year plan that involves becoming a member of Congress or even know which office you'd like to run for. Pick a problem in your community that you think can be solved, tell us about it, and we'll help figure out the rest. We'll connect you to other-first time candidates, folks who want to help, and other resources.
Running for office is hard, yes, but it's 1.) cheaper than you'd think and 2.) so, so worth it. Why not just talk about it?
