DSA Statewide Campaign Kickoff for Prop 15 (Schools and Communities First)
Thursday, August 6, 7:30pm to 8:30pm
This November, Californians will be voting to reclaim an estimated $12 Billion dollars annually for our schools and communities via a tax on large corporations. Our chapter endorsed Prop 15 at our last meeting and will be organizing around it in the coming months. This digital rally, held by a statewide DSA formation leading our organizing efforts, will be a great way to learn how to get involved in the campaign. Hope to see you there!

Join us for our monthly chapter meeting as we discuss our Schools and Communities First Campaign, our upcoming Steering Committee elections, updates about an upcoming reading group and our ongoing labor and tenant organizing.

Steering Committee Interest Meetings and Elections

- Steering Committee Elections: Thursday, September 24, 6:00pm to 7:00pm
We will be holding open meetings for DSA members interested in running for a position on our Steering Committee. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions about what to expect from a position and meet other members who are also interested in running. To read about the positions we will be electing, please refer to Article 5 of our Chapter Bylaws. Steering committee elections will take place on Thursday, September 24 at 6pm.
