Three steps to being...a better GOTV advocate

Just because you’re staying in doesn’t mean your learning should slow down! So, stay safe and take these steps to engage:

  1. Learn: Check out the pflag.org/blog/get-out-vote-2020 to learn more about the countless resources available to help advocates like you get-out-the-vote (GOTV) this November.
  2. Watch: PFLAG Votes: Our Right and Responsibility will help you learn more about voter registration, education, mobilization, and protection.
  3. Share: Use social media to participate in PFLAG National’s “I’m voting because…” campaign.

Advocacy

Saving the Election Means Saving the Post Office, Too

For months we have heard simultaneous pleas to both vote by mail and to “Save the Post Office.” There has also been a lot of information - and misinformation - that can make these issues seem confusing and contradictory, but we’ll do our best to explain why both issues are important and need your attention to guarantee a safe and fair election. Read more here.

This upcoming Wednesday, Aug. 5, marks 90 days before Election Day.

Please take the next few days to read more about what is going on with the Post Office, and learn more about how you can help. We’ll need you, your ideas, and your advocacy efforts to ensure a fair and just election!
