Run for Something

Hi John,

We just wrapped up our first "season" of Run for Something's Armchair Chats last week, and we're amazed at how it's taken off (about 200,000 people watched last week's!).

We're getting ready for a fresh batch of chats. And I promise that unlike certain hit fantasy TV shows, our finale won't leave you disappointed, bitter, and confused.

As this first season comes to an end, I wanted to make sure you knew that:
  1. You can watch every Chat from start to finish on our Facebook page by clicking here.

  2. And

  3. We've got a whole new lineup of the campaigning world's best and brightest joining us through August and September!
Our first Armchair Chat of the new season will be centered on digital fundraising: why it's so powerful, how to get it started, and how to make the most of it.

This Wednesday, August 5th at 6:00 p.m. ET, join Rachael Junard, Deputy State and Local Outreach Director for ActBlue, and Clarke Humphrey, Deputy Digital Director at Biden for America, for an exploration of small-dollar fundraising online and so much more. Sign up here to join us this Wednesday >>

RUN FOR SOMETHING PRESENTS ARMCHAIR CHAT: DIGITAL FUNDRAISING Chat with ActBlue Deputy Outreach Director, Rachael Junard and Deputy Director at Biden for America, Clarke Humphrey on the best methods to fundraise for a campaign, virtually. August 5 | 6:00 pm ET
Whether we're learning to craft and pitch a story or laying out a plan to engage youth voters -- these chats are all about helping young, diverse progressives build a winning campaign.

And we plan to keep up the work by putting on a whole 'nother round of chats through mid-September to make sure we cover every base -- whether you're a first-time candidate who needs some support or a veteran volunteer who needs a refresher.

Close friends of ours and innovators in this space are all joining us to make sure you and your team are ready to build permanent power for your communities.

P.S. We’re providing this series for free because we believe in knocking down barriers to run for office, not putting them up. If you’d like to help cover the costs of producing the Armchair Chats, you can pitch in here.
