For years, the political establishment in D.C. and Sacramento looked at the North State and saw a district they could ignore. They saw a "safe" Republican seat and decided it wasn't worth the fight.

Because of the movement we’ve built, they can't look away anymore. EMILYs List officially named our race to their Mission Majority initiative, identifying CA-01 as a "must-win" seat to flip the House and fire the GOP majority.
