Hello John -- This is Congressman Gil Cisneros, and I proudly serve California's 39th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Our victory in 2018 was part of the historic wave that swept through Orange County. We turned CA-39 blue for the first time in decades without taking a dime from corporate PACs. As a former Naval officer, longtime education advocate, and now congressman -- it’s my personal mission to fight for middle class families in California and across the country who’ve been ignored by the special interests in Washington. In Congress, I’m working relentlessly to defend the Affordable Care Act from Republican attempts to rip away coverage for millions, to fight for increased access and more affordable care for everyone, and to immediately reopen ACA enrollment. The truth is that Republicans are jumping at the chance to flip this seat. We’re already seeing the unfolding of their playbook in our neighborhood: dark money funded attack ads, a dedicated network of Super PACs, and special interests prepared to spend big to seize this seat.
