It’s happening again. The same lies. The same fabricated "imminent threats." The same reckless disregard for American lives.

Yesterday, the mask slipped even further. While Donald Trump tries to sell his illegal war with Iran as a "preemptive strike" for national security, his own Secretary of State admitted the truth: They knew this would precipitate an attack on American forces, and they did it anyway.

They are manufacturing a war, and they are expecting working-class Americans to pay the price in blood and treasure.

We have seen this movie before, (more than once!!!) and we know how it ends.

We cannot afford "Democrats" who are afraid of their own shadows—people who roll over the moment a wannabe dictator says we need to fund his secret police force because of a war HE started. We don’t need more "bipartisan" platitudes while our service members are being put in harm's way for no reason.

We need a majority in Congress that will do more than express concern and write press releases. We need folks who will actually:

* Exercise the Power of the Purse to stop funding for unauthorized, illegal wars.
* Invoke the War Powers Act to force an immediate withdrawal from this unconstitutional conflict.
* Hold the architects of this chaos accountable through subpoenas and public testimony.

The fascists in the White House are counting on us to be tired. They are counting on the "opposition" to be feckless. They think they can drain our resources and kill our people without anyone standing in their way.

This is the fight for the soul of our country. If we don’t elect people who will actually fight back, we are going to lose the Republic.
