Team, after I ended my campaign for president, I jumped right back into the ring to help elect great leaders up and down the ballot who are putting people first.

That's why I'm proud to have endorsed Lauren Underwood for Illinois' 14th district.

I've been so impressed with the hard work and values Lauren brings to Washington for her community. Since day one, Lauren has demonstrated true leadership by fighting for affordable, accessible healthcare for the people and families in her district.

Lauren has introduced and passed a number of bills to lower costs and expand care, and just one year into her first term, her bill to lower insulin costs was signed into law. That's a big deal.

You might be wondering why I'm weighing in on a race like this one. It's because so much is at stake in this election.

At a time when healthcare costs are outrageously high and families are struggling to afford their life-saving medication — we need champions in Washington who will protect the most vulnerable among us and put people over special interests. Lauren has been and will continue to do just that, and it's why I'm so proud to support her today, and why I'm looking forward to our chat tomorrow.
