John,
This year has been challenging, to say the least. Many of us are balancing work and parenting, while others are working around the clock on social justice or electoral campaigns. Even reading the news can be exhausting.
The way we take care of ourselves—or don't—affects so many things: our energy levels, our quality of life, even our ability to connect with/show up for one another and our communities.
That's why we're hosting another mindfulness moment and community check-in with MoveOn’s Reggie Hubbard on Thursday, August 6. Reggie will guide us through some exercises and movements, then you’ll have a chance to connect one-on-one with others in a fun Icebreaker exercise.
Click here to RSVP. We'll send out a link to join a few hours before the event.
As we continue to reckon with the renewed uprising for social justice amidst a global pandemic and prepare for the most important elections of our lives, it is critical that we prioritize our mental health and well-being as foundational, rather than an afterthought.
This is a great opportunity for you to focus on your own health and wellness, as you make some meaningful connections with others in the movement.
This session will be accessible for all abilities. Modifications will be offered for those who aren't able to do floor work or hold certain poses.
Radical Self-Care for the Movement
