Thank you, truly -- because of you, we finished the month strong.

I know that when there is so much uncertainty, and so much at stake, it's harder than ever to make time and budget for donations to campaigns like mine. That's why I'm truly so thankful for every grassroots donation -- not just last month but throughout this entire campaign.

It's been almost a year since I announced I was running for reelection, and so much has changed in that year. I don't think any of us could have expected August 2020 to look and feel so different from August 2019, but I stand by what I said when I announced my candidacy back then:
