The GOP has launched another attack on vote-by-mail -- this time in the swing state of Iowa.

All evidence has shown that voter fraud in American elections is virtually nonexistent. But Republican groups, joined by the Trump re-election campaign, are now successfully using that lie to push back against Democratic efforts to make vote-by-mail safer and more accessible in one of the most important electoral battlegrounds in the country.

And it's happening all over the map: the conservative Texas Supreme Court has ruled that vote-by-mail will not be extended to voters concerned about the pandemic, and the Trump campaign has sued to restrict vote-by-mail in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

We need to stop this, now. Almost two-thirds of Americans say everyone in their state should be able to vote by mail. But more and more voting rights are being stripped away every day.
