Friends -- Earlier this week, Donald Trump tweeted this:

"With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???"

Let me be clear: Trump cannot delay our election. According to the Constitution, only Congress has that power. And it's not a power we will be exercising in this election because -- despite what Trump claims -- mail-in voting is safe and secure.

The President needs to stop fear-mongering and let the American people decide whether or not he deserves another term. If you agree, add your name now.

I want to point out that Trump wants to delay the election until it is "safe" -- but is totally on board with reopening bars and restaurants and even schools as COVID-19 ravages our country.

That's because Trump isn't really concerned about safety. He's scared he'll lose. Why else would he call for delaying the election?

We need a President who doesn't actively discourage free and fair elections. If you agree, sign my petition here to demand that Trump stops undermining our democratic processes.
