Day of Action for a Safe and Equitable ReOpening
Today, August 3, 2020, students, parents, educators, and community members are taking part in actions to recognize the National Day of Resistance. The purpose of this day of action is to ensure a safe and equitable reopening of schools. Demands of the movement include that there be no in-person reopening of schools until scientific data supports it; police-free schools; community support for families and communities affected by the pandemic; and more.
