LOEFFLER CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES STATEWIDE FIELD DIRECTOR, HIGHLIGHTS VOTER CONTACT PROGRAM
ATLANTA – Today, the Georgians for Kelly Loeffler campaign announced additions to its field operation and highlighted the campaign's strong lead in voter outreach and grassroots engagement.
Chris Allen will lead the campaign's voter mobilization efforts as Statewide Field Director. A 2015 graduate of Valdosta State University, Allen previously worked on a variety of local campaigns and served as Statewide Field Director for Brian Kemp's 2018 gubernatorial bid. Following Governor Kemp’s victory and a series of roles in state government, Allen most recently served as Campaign Manager for Kevin Tanner in the 9th Congressional District.
Allen will take the helm of an already strong field program that has generated overwhelming grassroots momentum ahead of November. Since March, the Loeffler campaign has:
- Hired over 30 field staff and interns
- Launched a Satellite Office in Athens dedicated to voter outreach
- Made over 600,000 phone calls to voters
- Sent over 400,000 texts to voters
- Handwritten and sent over 5,000 postcards to voters
- Placed over 5,000 yard signs around the state
-
Met with over 1,000 Georgians on the All About Georgia Recess Tour
-
Established grassroots leadership teams in all 159 counties
-
Secured endorsements from over 100 statewide officers, state representatives, state senators, mayors, sheriffs, county commissioners, and other local, state, and federal officials
"For months, our campaign has been hard at work building out a robust field operation, and the results have been tremendous," said Communications Director Stephen Lawson. "Since March, we have made over 1 million voter contacts, hired over 30 field staff and interns, and established grassroots support in all 159 counties in Georgia. These investments in voter outreach will be key to delivering votes come Election Day. With clear advantages in resources, infrastructure, and grassroots support, we are continuing to build momentum towards a big win in November."
