Sally Beauty Holdings posted a net loss of $23.5 million on net sales of $705.3 million for the latest quarter, with sales down 27.7% from a year ago. However, e-commerce sales increased by 278%, and all stores were open in the US, EU, UK and Canada as of June 30 after being closed due to the pandemic.
Lawson Products posted $72 million in second-quarter sales, down 24.9% from a year ago, and net profit of $0.6 million, down from $1.3 million. However, month-over-month average daily sales increased in May and June.
