Good morning from Washington, D.C. As the nation prepares for a historic election, now just 92 days away, Heritage has published the guide for a conservative governing agenda. This is a must-read for every conservative who wants to fight back against the assaults of the left. Meanwhile, governments, schools, and corporations are rushing to include “anti-racism” training courses for their workers—courses that are often a front for pushing neo-Marxist ideology. And in a scathing op-ed, Heritage President Kay C. James says that while Planned Parenthood is trying to distance itself from its virulently racist founder, it is still carrying out her mission.
Your Guide to the Most Important Policy Issues <[link removed]>
How do you win over friends and neighbors to conservative policy positions on every important topic we face? How
can candidates convince voters that conservative solutions work? The answer to both is in Heritage’s newly released “Solutions 2020 <[link removed]>.” This biennial publication started out as a guide for lawmakers and candidates. But it now has a broader mission in the face of the unprecedented attacks from the left: to arm all conservatives with the facts, with easily digestible policy solutions, and even the best “power phrases” to use when talking about the issues. And this year’s new digital format makes it easier than ever to access the information. See it for yourself at our Solutions 2020 website <[link removed]>.
The Left Is Using ‘Anti-Racism’ Training To Push Neo-Marxist Ideology
<[link removed]>
After the death of George Floyd, governments and businesses rushed to adopt “anti-racism” training courses. The trouble is that these courses are typically nothing more than a cover to indoctrinate workers into neo-Marxist “critical theory.” To explain this troubling development, Angela Sailor, vice president of Heritage’s Feulner Institute, brought together a top-flight panel to expose these training courses. The panel included New Discourses founder Dr. James Lindsay, Christopher Rufo of the Discovery Institute, and Heritage’s Mike Gonzalez, whose new book, "The Plot to Change America: How Identity Politics is Dividing the Land of the Free, <[link removed]>" is a bestseller on Amazon. What are the ideological roots of critical theory? What impact is this having on our culture? How do we fight back? The webinar is a must-see for anyone who cares about the dangers of wokism. Planned Parenthood Is Still Delivering on Margaret Sanger’s Racist Vision <[link removed]>
In her powerful new column published in the Washington Times <[link removed]>, Heritage President Kay C. James notes that while the left is busy toppling statues of our nation’s founders, they venerate one of the most vile racists in American history—Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood. Sanger once admitted that her goal in promoting abortion was “to exterminate the Negro population.” Planned Parenthood of Greater New York took a baby step toward acknowledging its racist roots by removing Sanger’s name from its Manhattan clinic. But even if the national organization were to follow suit—it hasn’t—it wouldn’t matter. James explains in her op-ed how Planned Parenthood continues to carry out Sanger’s vile mission. As James told the Wall Street Journal <[link removed]>, “whether they know it or not, they are doing the work of white supremacists.” Read the entire op-ed here <[link removed]>.

Heritage’s Lora Ries and Mike Howell responded to the Trump administration’s renewing eligibility for DACA recipients. “Amnesty for illegal immigrants only begets more illegal immigration, increases the stress on America’s incredibly generous immigration system, and undermines the rule of law. President Trump acted correctly to undo the unconstitutional overreach of the Obama administration. ... However, due to the Supreme Court’s poorly decided ruling overturning that action, albeit perhaps only temporarily, the program remains intact." Keep reading the statement <[link removed]>.
