Number of the Day: 62% of voters think violence likely if Trump wins re-election

August 3, 2020: If President Trump wins re-election, 62% of voters nationwide believe it is at least somewhat likely that progressive activists will respond with violence. A JustTheNews.com survey found that total includes 34% who believe a violent response would be very likely.[1]

The survey also found that 38% consider violence from conservatives to be likely if Joe Biden wins. That includes 16% who say it’s very likely.[1]

Fifty-three percent (53%) of Democrats think a violent response is at least somewhat likely regardless of who wins. Republicans and independents believe violence is more likely with a Trump victory.[1]
