Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her liberal squad have a new target in their ongoing effort to defund programs that help impoverished communities: Opportunity Zone funding. 

Let me explain. 

The historic tax cuts passed by the Republican Majority included the Opportunity Zone program that incentivized private investment in impoverished communities. I was proud to write that legislation and have seen it work all across the country in often forgotten towns and cities. 

AOC and her liberal squad want to defund this program. Why? Because they cannot stand to see a free-market solution be so successful in helping poor communities. 

For AOC and other progressives, the only answer is more government funded handouts and programs.

Fellow Conservative, I cannot believe that such a successful free-market solution is coming under attack, will you chip in whatever you can afford to help me fight back?

AOC and her squad want to defund the police that keep our communities safe and now they want to take away economic development opportunities. 

These progressives claim to be looking out for the poor and middle class, but their actions are the exact opposite. 

We know that the mainstream media will give AOC and her liberal squad a free pass and refuse to report on their efforts to defund opportunity zones.
