Call legislators and tell them to put Nevada’s workers FIRST! |
|
Hello Friend, As you've read in other emails and on our social, we are working to push back against any proposed legislation giving business immunity from liability during the coronavirus pandemic. The proposal language has been covered by outlets like the Nevada Independent and should be getting introduced in the legislature today! Call legislators NOW to tell them that we cannot have this bailout happen in Nevada. Nevada’s elected leaders need to put workers first instead of removing legal accountability for businesses which would not only jeopardize the health and safety of workers but for anyone who enters those workplaces. Click here to make a call today and ask legislators to reject this Mitch McConnell-style policy! Follow us on Twitter to stay up-to-date on this issue and on how you can continue fighting for Nevada’s workers.
In solidarity, Maria-Teresa Liebermann-Parraga Deputy Director |
