I've written to you time and again about the need to make vote-by-mail a reality in November's election.

Here's the bottom line: no voter should ever have to choose between exercising their constitutional right to vote and protecting their health and well-being in the middle of a pandemic.

States are being forced to choose between canceling elections or putting voters' health at risk.

Now, as the pandemic worsens in several states, Donald Trump is delivering a one-two punch to our elections: refusing to support nationwide vote-by-mail while simultaneously sabotaging the U.S Postal Service by withholding critical crisis funding to slow down service.

That's why, more than ever, we need to keep our U.S. Postal Service solvent. Sign the petition and demand Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans save the Postal Service.

Ever since the onset of this pandemic, Americans have been relying on the delivery of critical medication and supplies while observing social distancing measures. Meanwhile, our nation's postal workers are on the front line, risking their lives to keep our families and communities safe.

But unless Congress acts soon, this crucial service—and the 600,000 hard-working Americans it employs, could go up in smoke by September—two months before we'll need them like never before.
