Good morning bright shiny people!

We're another day closer to ending this national nightmare.  You can help by encouraging crucial voters to be a voice in our democratic process.

Many people are willing to talk.  They're open to having a discussion.  One great tip I learned yesterday was that if someone tells you they're voting conservative/Republican/Trump, and you have a chance, ask them: "Do you mind if I ask why?"

It's a very different thing when people have to justify their (sometimes nutty) positions out loud!  Try it next time.

Speaking of next time, why wait?  There are phone banks today!  There's a Biden phone bank from 12 to 2, and another to flip North Carolina from 1 to 3.  From 1:30 to 4 you can call voters in MI/NC about absentee ballots, and you can make calls with Sister District to flip the Arizona state leg from 4 to 6.

Grassroots Dems has the most amazing operation that can hook you up with a phone bank pretty much anywhere, anytime.  Far too many to list here.  Also very helpful instructional links.  Please check them out.

Mark Kelly in Arizona could use your help tomorrow and Tuesday getting out the vote for the primary there.  The more that get out now, will likely vote in November too...

We'll be doing a quickie "Manny's Mondays Phone Bank for Biden", every Monday evening between now and November 3rd.  It's just 5:30 to 7, via Zoom of course.  Let's get in the habit of making this part of our routine.  And yes I will be nagging you.  :)

I love this: DemAction Marin is doing a "Training for New Phone Bankers and Phone Bank Tech Anxious" workshop from noon to 2 today!  If you've been wanting to start phone banking but are anxious about Zoom or dreading the technology of phone banking, this is the training for you.  No time like the present, right?  JUST DO IT.

(If you're one of those super phone-averse persons, here is a great link for postcarding.)

Also, here's the link for our Sunday Zoom today.  Drop by any time between 2 and 3 to say hullooo.

Eat your Wheaties.  Give yourself a hug.  Then dive in.

Best regards,
