I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the outpouring of support this team has shown us in the past week.

Earlier this month, we found out from a new poll that our race was a statistical tie. So we set an ambitious end-of-month fundraising goal. And because of your support we met -- and even surpassed -- our goal on Friday!

When we decided to refuse corporate PAC contributions in this campaign, we knew it would be challenging to keep up with the opposition. But thanks to the support of this grassroots team, I'm confident we'll have the resources to take on our millionaire self-funding opponent and any money the special interests throw our way.

I can't express how much it means to have this team by my side. We have a lot of work ahead of us these next few months before Election Day, but I know we'll have what it takes to win this "toss up" race.
