John, when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told us about her Republican colleague’s verbal abuse and vitriol on the steps of the Capitol, I realized that there was so much more behind those words than “just” sexism and disrespect for women. She received that kind of treatment because the Congressman was angry with not only her progressive views but the fact that she is a powerful and effective force fueling our country’s political transformation away from corporate power. Little did I know that on Friday, I would be called just that: a F-ing B. It was not a man but a local Republican business woman who can’t stand that, when I ran for City Council with an agenda of shared prosperity and promised to raise Flagstaff’s minimum wage, I was not kidding and did just that. The real fear that these people have about AOC, me, and every progressive woman running for Congress is that when we say something, we mean it, and we will do everything in our power to follow through on it. Their verbal abuse and incivility is not going to stop us. We have just two days to make a difference before Arizonans will cast their votes and we can still get our campaign in front of their eyes. Can you chip in $5, $10, or $15 so I can do what I said I’d do in Congress?
Can you support me one more time with a contribution so I can fight for a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, a humane immigration system, and to end wars? Together, Eva
