Friends --

After all the ballots were counted, Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump by almost 3 million votes.

It wasn’t enough. Donald Trump won because of 80,000 people in 3 states -- Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. If the several million voters who stayed home from the polls in 2016 made their voices heard, we could be living in a completely different America.

But, unfortunately, they didn’t. Now, we’re verging on a repeat of 2016: Trump is trailing by double-digits nationally, just like last time. If voters get too comfortable, we’ll live through four more years of kids in cages, attacks on women and people of color, and more far-right lifetime nominations to the Supreme Court.

We must do everything we can to win up and down the ballot in November. There’s no telling whose votes will be the most crucial this time around -- which is why every single Democrat needs to cast a ballot. But with in-person voting at risk and the GOP using voter suppression as a re-election strategy, that’s looking like it won’t happen. That’s why we’re reaching out now to see if you’ll commit to making this election better than the last -- tell us:

Do you commit to vote in November?
