Fellow American,
Here’s what the radical left and the mainstream media want you to believe:
That you shouldn’t be proud to be an American.
That you shouldn’t celebrate America’s 1776 founding and its true principles as written in the Declaration of Independence.
That your children should be taught the biased, historically inaccurate 1619 Project curriculum, built on the claim that our country is evil and irredeemable.
And, most of all, they want you to believe that you’re the only one who thinks as you do — as if that’s proof that something is wrong with you.
But you and I know the truth, Fellow American: millions of Americans share our values and belief in both the greatness of our country and the goodness of its values.
The American Principles Project’s new battleground state polling project proves it.
Working together with SPRY Strategies, a professional polling agency, the American Principles Project (APP) surveyed more than 40,000 likely voters in 10 key “swing” states that will help decide the 2020 election. The results were published online for your review, too.
Though the radical left will deny it — and you can bet the mainstream media won’t cover it — APP and SPRY found that, based on the answers people gave:
- we’re proud to be Americans, and we don’t want to see our Founding Fathers’ statues removed or erased from our shared history;
- we strongly oppose the far-left agenda of the professional activist group Black Lives Matter and their progressive allies, who are pushing for radical policies like getting rid of the traditional family, defunding police departments nationwide, and “overturning” the free market system that powers our prosperity; and
- we don’t want to see the New York Times’ 1619 Project curriculum destroy the history lessons that our kids and grandkids are taught in school — and replace them with ideologically motivated and historically inaccurate attacks on America and our free market system.
This research is heartening news … but I must warn you that it won’t stop the attacks against everyday people like you and me from the radical left or the left-wing media that promotes their message.
They must keep up the vitriol and outrage because they know it’s the only hope they have to convince people like you and me to turn our country’s future — and our kids’ and grandkids’ education — over to their far-left schemes.
But they didn’t count on all of us joining together to fight back through the American Principles Project, and making our voices heard in Washington, D.C.
Already you and I have seen legislation quickly introduced in the U.S. Senate to stop federal funding for the 1619 Project, and I’m confident that our shared agenda to promote and defend the American family will achieve even more victories this year.
The truth and the American people are on our side, Fellow American. I’m proud to stand with you in this fight.
Thank you for your support of the American Principles Project. Now let’s get back to work!
