Municipal Campus Project
Mendota Heights is planning for a new City Hall and Police Station building. Project details and design will be developed throughout 2026 with anticipated construction beginning in 2027. The new facility is scheduled to open Fall 2028.

Your City Hall should represent your community! Tell us what you love and care about living in Mendota Heights to help us frame the future of this critical community facility.
Attendees will do activities and provide insights that consultants and staff will use to guide the project. The same activities will be provided at both the morning and evening sessions.

Community Notification: Level III Predatory Offender
Pursuant to Minnesota Community Notification Act, the Mendota Heights Police Department is releasing information about Eric James Dokken, a registered Level III predatory offender who will be residing in the 2200 block of Lexington Avenue S. in Mendota Heights as of March 2, 2026.
Because Dokken is a Level III predatory offender and deemed a high public risk, Minnesota state law dictates that notification of his residence in Mendota Heights must be broadly distributed.

Sustainable Mendota Heights Speaker Series: Nature

Join the City’s Natural Resources Manager, Krista Spreiter, along with Joe Barton from the Dakota County SWCD and Lower Mississippi River Management Organization, and Meghan Bernard, sustainability manager for School District 197, as they discuss the advantages of natural landscaping, city and county resources for business and property owners, and how to incorporate them at your home or business.
