During his State of the Union address, President Trump claimed progress. But over a year into his presidency, families are paying more, not less. Costs are up because of reckless tariffs. Health care protections have been weakened. And Republicans refused to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits, causing premiums to skyrocket for working people.
If Republicans hold the House after the midterms, Donald Trump will have even fewer guardrails. Oversight weakens. Transparency disappears. Health care cuts deepen. In other words, the chaos continues.
