John - we have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is: We fell short of our July fundraising deadline. It's the first time we've ever fallen short and it comes just days before our primary election on August 4th.

The good news is: We have 3 more days to make up for the ground we lost. Our goal is to raise an emergency $250,000 before the primary to catch up with our Republican opponent.

Falling short isn't the news we were hoping to share in the final stretch before our primary election. But we aren't going to doom and gloom you. Instead, we are going to set the bar high and work even harder to hit it.
