We have to be honest, we don't have great news to share with you today. Do you have a minute to hear us out?

We pushed hard to hit our fundraising goal for July but we fell short for the first time. This is not the news we hoped to share considering our primary is in 3 days and our Republican opponent just outraised us for the first time.

So here's the deal: We have 3 days before our primary on August 4th, and we need your help to raise $250,000 before then to catch up with our Republican opponent.

This is one of the rare times when our goal is about a dollar amount and not donations, but we've crunched the numbers and if we can hit this goal in the next 3 days it'll put us back on track. So what do you say?
