Yesterday, for the first time since our campaign began, we didn't meet our end-of-month fundraising goal, falling $10,000 short of where we needed to be.

It's an understatement to say that 2020 is perhaps one of the most important years in recent history. So much of our democracy is at stake in this election year, from the presidency to the House.

Because we weren't able to meet our goal from July, we need your support in getting back on track this month, starting now. Will you chip in $5 right now and help shore up this fundraising gap and keep our movement going strong?

John, if we're going to have any chance of winning on November 3 — from Jamaal's election to those of our fellow progressives — keeping up this movement that we built is critical.

If 2020 has taught us anything thus far, it's that we can't take anything for granted. We don't want to wake up on the morning after Election Day wondering if there was more we could have done.

That's why we're doing everything we can right now. We're making plans to mobilize people to fill out the census, keeping our constituents (especially youth and people of color) engaged, and supporting progressives in upcoming elections to start building our coalition in Congress.
