Since the runoff, this team has made a lot of progress, y’all. Everyone’s seen how we’ve come together after the runoff to build a team strong enough to defeat Sen. Cornyn. Even Ted Cruz has been sounding the alarm about how "if [Republicans] lose Texas, we lose the Senate in 2020, all the ground that we gained in the last four years can be lost."
What ground is Ted Cruz talking about?

He’s talking about tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations that left working families behind.

He’s talking about the lawsuits to repeal the Affordable Care Act and gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

He’s talking about the complete lack of oversight over the expanded power of the executive branch.

He’s talking about the mountain of bills -- bills that would protect voting rights, lower drug prices, and preserve expanded unemployment benefits during this tough time of COVID-19 -- that are sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk, gathering dust.
We have to be honest, team, all of those sound like pretty good things to reverse!
Ted Cruz is right -- Democrats ARE fighting to win in Texas, because we know that it’s time for real change. He’s also right to be worried, because with you on our team, we truly CAN win in November.
