Look: There’s no arguing that our country is going through some of our darkest times yet. A global pandemic has killed over 150,000 people in our country. Over 54 million Americans are without jobs. And the Republicans just let the federal unemployment benefits keeping millions of families afloat expire.

You know what to do. If the Republicans in Congress can’t do their jobs, we’re going to vote them out.

Millions of Americans are depending upon the federal unemployment benefit to pay their rent, feed their families and stay afloat. But Congress put partisan fights above people yet again.

Here’s why we’re asking you to pledge to vote: Republicans are complacent. They think that young people won’t turn out to vote, and they’ll coast to a victory. Pledging to vote has been concretely proven to boost voter turnout — and we’ll be damned if we hand these Republicans a victory after the way they’ve abandoned us in Congress. We’re going to turn out. Young people will be the reason we defeat Donald Trump and the Republicans this year.

We’ll remember come November. Pledge to vote now.
