*WHAT?* A Drive-In and General Seating Movie Experience featuring the 2019 live-action edition of The Lion King, presented by The Village of Oswego, in partnership with Classic Cinemas [ [link removed] ].



*WHEN?*
Date: Thursday, August 6, 2020

Gates Open at 7:30 PM for parking

Movie begins when Twilight Ends (approx. 8:45 pm)



*WHO?*
The purchase of tickets is open to the first 130 Oswego residents, only, on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 30 tickets will be sold for the Drive-In Movie Experience and 100 tickets for the General Seating Experience.



Photo ID showing proof of residency is required at check-in. A waiting list will be kept in the case of a cancellation. Send waiting list request to: [email protected]



*FEE: *

Drive-In Experience: $5/vehicle, plus applicable online ticketing fees. Please purchase only 1 ticket/vehicle. Limit of 1 vehicle per household. Vehicles will be parked "every other" stall. Attendants will park vehicles based upon vehicle size and whether the back hatch is intended to remain open throughout the movie.



OR



General Seating Experience: $1/person, plus applicable online ticketing fees. Please purchase 1 ticket per person (age 4 and under: Free). Limit of 6 tickets per household. Guests are required to bring their own lawn chairs, bean bag chairs, blankets and/or pillows. A total of two groups of 50 or less will be spaced out a minimum of 30' apart.

*COMPLIMENTARY POPCORN: *

One complimentary bag of popcorn will be given to each vehicle upon arrival.



*MOVIE SUMMARY:*

Simba and the cast are back in a computer-animated remake of the original Disney animated musical. As heir to the throne, Prince Simba knows he will someday rule the kingdom. However King Mufasa's evil brother Scar has other plans. After Mufasa's untimely death, Simba is exiled, putting the fate of the kingdom in question. Now Simba must learn what it truly means to be brave and responsible.

Consider ordering food To Go in advance from any Oswego restaurant. Restaurants located immediately adjacent to the Park N Ride are as follows and welcome your orders for curbside pick-up in advance: Steve Bureshs Cheesecake Shop; Prohibition Junction; New China Hut; Chicago Pizza Authority, McDonalds and Taco Bell (Call ahead to check restaurant hours.) Patrons are welcome to bring in their own food and beverages. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
