In case you missed it, DC Democrats from the national party swooped in the other day to announce their support of our primary opponent.
DC insiders are trying to undermine our primary process, and trying to tell folks here in WI-03 that they know better than we do about what we want in our representative.
We have people in DC picking who they want to represent in Western and Central Wisconsin. They told us, “We don't want a primary” – so that means they want to pick who goes up against Derrick Van Orden in November.
That is not fair, that is not patriotic, it's not democratic. We deserve better than that.
When they announced the decision, the national party released a press release that preached this was about saving democracy in November. If they’re concerned with saving democracy, they should allow it to happen at the primaries in August.
