New York Times: "Countering GOP on Courts, Democrats Will Call for 'Structural' Change"
Friend,
This is big. As of this week, the need for structural reform of our courts is now recognized in the official Democratic Party platform!
For the first time ever, the Democratic Party Platform Committee has recognized that major changes need to be made to our judicial system. A couple years ago, no one was talking about court reform. Now it’s about to be the official policy of the Democratic Party.
This moment wouldn’t have been possible without hard work and support from progressives like you -- and we have to keep the momentum going. Rush a contribution within the next 24 hours to support the fight for court reform.

You were by our side as we hosted the first-ever presidential candidate forum exclusively focused on the courts this February and you were with us again when we led two dozen groups this summer to push for the Democratic Party to recognize the need for reform of our courts. But we still have a lot of work to do together.
Our courts have been hijacked. The Supreme Court is unbalanced, overly politicized, and unaccountable.
We simply cannot accept a status quo that presents such a permanent threat to the integrity of an entire branch of government.
The Democratic Party platform news is a step toward progress. But there’s still much more to be done to ensure our courts work for everyone.
Support our people-powered movement for progressive court reform now.
Thank you for making this news possible and all you’re doing to keep up the fight.
Onward,
Brian
