The Marquette Law School Poll — the gold standard in Wisconsin politics —
just came out, and our campaign is in first place in the Democratic
primary for governor.

We’ve nearly doubled our support since October. We’re beating candidates
with more than twice our name recognition. And the issues we’ve been
fighting for since day one? Voters are right there with us.
Here’s what the poll found:
* 70% of Wisconsin voters say data center deals cost more than they’re
worth — up 15 points in four months. We were the [ [link removed] ]first campaign to
call these deals out, and we’re still the only one with a plan to stop
them.
* 56% disapprove of how ICE is enforcing immigration laws. 61% say the
killing of Alex Pretti was not justified. We’ve been [ [link removed] ]standing up to
this brutality from the beginning — in the legislature, in the
streets, and on this campaign.
* Inflation is the #1 issue in Wisconsin, with 70% of voters very
concerned about cost of living. That’s exactly why we built this
entire campaign around permanent affordability — universal childcare,
paid leave for all, fully funded schools, and fairer, cheaper

We didn’t wait for the polls to tell us what to care about. We led with
our principles because we know what Wisconsinites have been asking for
since I started traveling across the state in 2020. That’s what this
campaign is about: delivering on the real issues that real people care
about.
But I have to be honest with you: First place also means a target on our
back. Every other campaign is going to look at this poll and come after
us. We need the resources to keep growing, keep organizing, and keep
showing up in every corner of this state.
