Hi Friend,

Thank you for taking action in support of the Grinalda do Ouro community in Brazil.

Just 10 days ago, a traditional rural community called for support to stop a violent land grab they were facing. Tractors rampaged through vegetation. Residents feared for their lives and homes. All to make room for an agribusiness monoculture plantation.

Over 350 of us stepped up on a Friday and wrote emails… and international action got results . The government suspended the licenses the agribusiness crews used to plow through Grinalda do Ouro.
However, the struggle isn’t over. The licenses may be suspended and the tractors may have stopped but these are only temporary measures. These licenses need to be permanently canceled. Take action (even if you already had before) and let’s keep up the pressure to make sure this community stays safe.
