| As we mark Black History Month, we honor the Black leaders, organizers, and lawmakers who have shaped every fight for democracy and freedom. At SiX, we’ve lifted up this legacy through our work on Black maternal health and racial justice built with Black communities. We stay grounded in this truth: our work is stronger when we tell the full history, learn from it, and act on it.

| Last night, President Trump addressed the nation with his State of the Union speech. In response, EJ Juárez, Executive Director of the State Innovation Exchange, issued the following response:
"Tuesday evening, the world watched as President Trump abused the State of the Union address, treating this moment like entertainment for TV in a way that was abhorrent and beneath the office.
