Dear John,

Today, I am excited to introduce you to Cohort VIII ([link removed]) of 50CAN's National Voices Fellowship.

Cohort VIII joins the national education discourse as our nation’s collective approach to reading and math instruction is being redefined, new definitions of school quality and measurement are taking shape, and millions of American students are utilizing some form of school choice. In last week’s release of the Educational Opportunity Survey ([link removed]) from 50CAN and Edge Research, we found a bipartisan desire from families for greater educational opportunities in every state in the country. The National Voices Fellowship has been designed to help raise awareness of those opportunities and to spark the public imagination necessary to make them a reality.

With diverse backgrounds and expertise in policy, innovation, civics, school navigation, curriculum building and research, our fellows are committed to engaging in the kind of bipartisan communication and advocacy necessary to work across partisan lines and champion the most promising ideas for students.
