Jack,

This morning, I put on my trusty gray parka and put out a [ [link removed] ]challenge on
social media.

Channeling my inner (and outer!) Bernie Sanders, I asked people to donate
$2 to this campaign. That’s it, just $2.

We don’t have big-money donors. But we do have the most popular support in
the entire race – over 7,400 individual donations. That’s more than the
next two candidates combined. If donations were votes, we'd be winning by
a landslide.

This campaign is powered by people like you. When we all work together,
the many can beat the money.

To paraphrase JFK: We choose to run a grassroots campaign not because it’s
easy, but because it is hard. And because it’s democratic.

Here's what your $2 goes toward:

* Deploying 2000+ volunteers to knock doors in every corner of the
state
* Printing yard signs, flyers, and mailers to spread our message far and
wide
* Fueling our statewide campus tour so we can keep showing up for young
voters who are fired up and ready to organize
* Getting Fran on the road to meet voters face-to-face
* Building the digital infrastructure to reach voters online, tell our
story, and fight back against big-money opposition

If every person on this email list chips in, the impact will be huge.

Or as Bernie would say, YUGE.

campaign. Even $2 a month helps!
