President Trump’s global tariffs were illegal from the start.

Like many of you, I celebrated the Supreme Court’s moral clarity in striking down Trump’s painful, unconstitutional tariff chaos.

But Trump just doesn’t know when to stop. He’s doubling down and increasing global tariffs to 15%.

We saw what these tariffs did to our country: a record-high trade deficit, lost manufacturing jobs and higher prices.

We can’t take another two years of Trump’s tariff chaos. Congress must immediately step up and pass the Stopping a Rogue President on Trade Act and put an end to this madness once and for all.

As the Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee Ranking Member, I introduced the Stopping a Rogue President on Trade Act to protect working Americans from the harms of Trump’s deranged trade regime by requiring Congressional approval on all new tariffs imposed by the president.

I am leading the charge for working families in Congress, fighting for lower prices and manufacturing jobs in California and nationwide, but I can’t do it alone.
