When I decided to run for Congress, I promised this campaign would be different.

I wouldn’t just make speeches and send emails. I would show people who I am, connect with voters based on our shared values, and lead by example.

I’m a farm kid from Palmyra, I went to college in Lincoln, and I have served the 29th District in the Nebraska Legislature since 2013.

I’ve worked as an educator, a social worker, and an anti-hunger organizer. I have dedicated my life to serving others and I understand what our communities need most.

I’m running for Congress because Washington isn’t working for Nebraska. We need affordable health care and prescription drugs, strong labor unions, and environmental policy that understands agriculture.

I get Nebraska because I am Nebraska. I love where I come from, and I am running for Congress to advocate for the state that I love.
