Hey Team -- Last month, I asked y'all to help me hit my fundraising goal for the AOTL training program. And thanks to everyone who stepped up, we raised enough money to launch Redistricting U!

Now as Training Director, I'm mapping out the logistics. Where will we host trainings? How many folks can we train in each state? Will we have enough money in the budget for a respectable snack spread? You know, the important details.

Can I count on you to make a donation to our Redistricting U fund so these trainings go seamlessly?

Our team set a goal of 1,000 Founding Members of Redistricting U. Since President Obama's announcement, 680 people already made a donation to help fuel this training initiative -- that's nearly 70 percent to goal! So I'm raising our goal to 5,000. It's ambitious, but based on the excitement we're seeing around this program I think it's achievable. CNN, USA Today, and Vanity Fair have all already written about Redistricting U!

President Obama said that training is at the heart of organizing. It's how we empower folks with the tools and resources to take action in their communities. I honestly believe that training takes hope and channels it into meaningful change. It's how we make an impact.

Redistricting U is the first step in empowering this movement in the fight for fair maps. Become a Founding Member to help make this training initiative a success.
