Dear Friend, On reopening Minnesota and mismanaging our economy, Governor Walz never fails to disappoint. Another arbitrary decree not based upon science or sound analysis. These decisions should be left to the school boards and parents.
As Walz and other liberal Democrats like my opponent Dan Feehan suck up to the big government teachers’ unions that finance their campaigns, they fail to listen to students and parents who want our schools open. Walz, Feehan and the rest of the DFL could learn a lot from South Dakota, which is a much closer match to southern Minnesota than the Twin Cities. South Dakota and its Governor Kristi Noem get it. Schools are open for in-person learning throughout the state (with no masks). Governor Noem kept South Dakota open throughout. South Dakota’s economy may be the strongest in the nation and their coronavirus per capita death rate is just 33% of Minnesota’s.
In Minnesota, based upon positive cases and CDC guidance, the survival rate for those under age 60 is 99.974%. Meanwhile, a disgusting and sad 77% of Minnesota’s fatalities have been residents of long term care facilities. For some reason, Governor Walz always forgets to mention all that.
Locking down young and healthy people is idiotic. We should be protecting those most vulnerable and let people get back to work and students back in school. Help me fight and win! Thank you for support! P.S.
My opponent has been handpicked by Nancy Pelosi and was endorsed by Ilhan Omar. They are already raising him massive amounts of money from their extreme East and West coast liberal friends. That’s why I really need your help today. Even a contribution of $250, $100, $25, or $10 right now (Help Jim Win!) will send a loud message that they can’t buy this district and misrepresent the people of southern Minnesota.
