[2]National Nurses United
Our
Medicare for All Day of Action is coming up next month and we need your
help!
If you were able to join our national Summer Strategy call a couple of
weeks ago, then you heard that we’re planning a national Day of Action on
August 22 to demonstrate how our commitment to win Medicare for All is
growing stronger than ever in an era of COVID-19.
It’s important to note that these actions will be done while practicing
social distancing and staying safe. [ [link removed] ]We’ll be giving you lots of tips on
how to take action while still being careful to prevent the spread of
COVID-19.
No matter where you live, you can help host a solo or small group action
to participate in this exciting national effort. Hosting an action only
requires a small amount of preparation, and we’ll be with you every step
of the way!

A record number of people have lost their jobs and their
employer-sponsored health insurance, at a time when people need health
care most.
COVID-19 has made it clear that we need Medicare for All, a system that
prioritizes people and their health not only during a public health
crisis, but every single day. This Day of Action has the potential to be a
nationwide sign of strength and a testament to the continued growth of our
Medicare for All movement in the midst of the worst pandemic in a
generation.
The only way we can reach that potential is if thousands of
supporters like
you step up on August 22nd to make our voices heard louder
than ever.
[ [link removed] ]So can we count on you to take that step and commit to hosting an
action on August 22, our Medicare for All Day of Action?
If you can’t host an action, don’t worry — we’ll be in touch with
information on becoming part of the action closer to August 22nd.
Thank you for being such an integral part of this movement.
In solidarity,
Max Cotterill
