Yesterday President Trump once again demonstrated his complete
ignorance about our Constitution and system of governance. Our
November elections will NOT be postponed. Only Congress can delay
elections.

Pitch in here to help keep up the pressure on Congressional
Republicans to commit to keeping elections on schedule for
November 3rd AND publicly demand that Trump commits to honoring
the results of those elections!

While Trump doesn't have the legal authority to postpone or
cancel the vote, there are still plenty of ways he and
Republicans are working to undermine the integrity of this
election.

We must mobilize against Trump's efforts to interfere with Post
Office operations in order to disrupt Vote By Mail ballots. The
House-passed HEROES Act includes important provisions to protect
the integrity of the postal delivery system and it is critical
that we include those in the next COVID-19 emergency response
bill.

We cannot take ANYTHING for granted. We have every reason to
expect that Trump and his enablers will only escalate their
heavy-handed abuse of federal agencies between now and Election
Day.

That's why I need your help before midnight, to support our
movement to take back the Senate and end this madness. Please
contribute here before tonight's critical end-of-month deadline!

Donald Trump made his outrageous suggestion to postpone our
elections on the same day we bid a final farewell to John Lewis,
who put his life on the line for the right to vote. Not only did
President Trump refuse to pay his respects to this American hero
but, as my friend Congressman James Clyburn said, his tweet was a
"despicable affront to John Lewis's memory and legacy."

We must stay laser-focused on the task at hand -- to Get Out
Every Vote and Dump Trump and Ditch Mitch in November!
