Dear Friend --



Earlier this week I shared that my mother, Gaby O’Donnell, passed away due to complications from COVID-19. She was 61 years old.



I’d like to thank everyone who has reached out to me and my family to express their condolences. Your cards, notes and messages have been an incredible source of strength.



And I’d like to especially thank the nurses and doctors at Long Beach Memorial. I have always been a huge supporter of their work and I am beyond grateful for the care they provided for my mom during her last days.



In Long Beach, 177 people have died from COVID-19, including one person just last night—each one has a family and we mourn with them. And as we read this, there are an additional 97 families who have a loved one in the hospital right now fighting for their life.



Thank you for supporting me and my family and all our families as we deal with COVID-19.
