MSNBC's Chris Hayes shined the spotlight on Donald Trump's systematic sabotage and slow down of the U.S. Postal Service -- starving it of money and putting a lackey in charge.

Hayes asked Judy Beard of the American Postal Workers Union what postal employees are seeing. She said, "They're seeing the mail slow down, no doubt about it. They've been given instructions by their supervisor to leave mail" -- leave it behind, lagging, waiting to be delivered.

Congress is considering Post Office funding as part of the current coronavirus debate. Have you waited for your prescription, Social Security check, or other important item? Has your business been hurt by slow mail? Please take 2 minutes and write a letter to the editor of your local paper.

What else can you do? Tweet at your senators, telling them your story. (We filled in their handles, you just need to write a sentence.)

Or call your senators here - we give you a script.
